Quan is an economist who specialises in cost-benefit analysis and economic modelling.

About Quan


Quan has been working with federal and state government departments and agencies, as well as the private sector to solve complex problems and assessing economic benefits. He has extensive experience in data analysis, economic and financial modelling, evaluation, and financial management.

Recent examples of Quan’s work include:
    

  • economic contribution evaluation of geological survey services
  • cost-benefit analysis and regulatory impact statement of phasing out single-use plastic
  • international benchmark of the grain industry on production, yield, research and development intensity, and total factor productivity
  • evaluation of regional development funds and programs
  • development of various economic, cost, production, and supply & demand models

Prior to joining ACIL Allen, Quan worked in the international development industry, where his experience provided him with great understanding of economic development, market systems and policy interventions, in various sectors including agribusiness, tourism, carbon market, start-ups and technology.

Quan graduated from the Australian National University with a Bachelor of Economics, majoring in Finance.
