ACIL Allen recently reviewed the Survey of Employers’ Use and Views of the VET system (SEUV), which has been run biennially since 1995. The SEUV makes an important contribution to the Productivity Commission’s Report on Government Services and provides insights on the performance of the VET system for policymakers in government. We examined the survey’s design and technical integrity, and whether it is meeting user’s needs. We also looked at how the SEUV compares to a similarly focused pilot survey that trialed some alternative ways of collecting and presenting employers' views of the VET system.

Thank you to all stakeholders across government, industry, and education who contributed. For further information, contact VetStatistics@employment.gov.au at the Department of Employment, Skills, Small and Family Business.
