ACIL Allen was engaged by Defence West to undertake an economic impact assessment of the potential movement of Collins class submarine Full Cycle Docking to Western Australia. The economic impact assessment will help Defence West explain the benefits of this movement by estimating the long term benefits to the state’s economy over the facility’s productive life in terms of the impact on output (Gross State Product), real incomes, and employment (FTE basis). The modelling has been  completed in ACIL Allen’s Input Output (IO) framework.
